Update On Hall Projects

Members of the Triangle Tillers (the wonderful garden volunteers) spent a cold, rainy morning, planting the new hedge along the edge of the historic garden. 10 members of the South Lewis FFA spent the morning volunteering at Constable Hall's historic garden. They weeded, mulched (almost a whole dump truck full), planted some hedges, and dug out some very tenacious plants! And Jeanette Remp Sawyer Community Foundation we were able to purchase 8 new benches. The funding opportunity was made possible through the Northern New York Community Foundation which helped to facilitate the grant. TAG Grant Completed

Crawford & Stearns Architects & Preservation Planners turned in their TAG Grant final report at the end of July. The report details observations made during several visits to Constable Hall regarding the physical condition of the building. This valuable information will be used to set maintenance and repair priorities. Season Is Under Way
