10 members of the South Lewis FFA spent the morning volunteering at Constable Hall's historic garden. And Jeanette Remp Sawyer Community Foundation we were able to purchase 8 new benches. Crawford & Stearns Architects & Preservation Planners turned in their TAG Grant final report at the end of July. The report details observations made during several visits to Constable Hall regarding the physical condition of the building. This valuable information will be used to set maintenance and repair priorities. Our 2019 Golf tournament was favored by a nice day and a great turn out. We appreciate the support from those who sign up and particularly thank Chris and the other organizers. We are pleased to announce that Constable Hall was selected by the Documentation Heritage & Preservation Services for New York for assistance in Strategic Planning. This award, whose value is estimated to be $7,000 to $9,000, is intended to assist Constable Hall in developing a three year plan to strengthen the organization by defining a set of shared goals and a vision for the future. Constable Hall is sad to lose a respected past president (2005-2010), constant supporter and good friend with the passing of the Honorable John S. Parker. Our annual golf tournament has been renamed the Hon. John S. Parker Memorial Golf Tournament.

Constable Hall is delighted to announce that is has won a grant from the Preservation League of NYS. This competitive award greatly assists us in performing a building condition survey of the Hall. This work will be performed by Crawford & Stearns Architects & Preservation Planners located in Syracuse.
