Fall Chores and more

By Constable Hall on September 1, 2018

A 200-year-old house requires constant monitoring and maintenance. This year was no exception; a few of our activities are listed here.

Mr. Weiler has been hard at work improving the gutter drainage system and water flow around the wing walls. During the summer he re-laid patio stones.

The entrance pillars at the front driveway have been straightened.

Roof venting and an inspection portal for the office crawl space was put in.

Bill, our groundskeeper, removed a very large oak limb that fell in the front yard during a summer wind storm.

Brian & Bob, local bee keepers, visited the Hall and donated their services in addressing a honey bee issue in the attic.

The Hall security system was upgraded with remote and video monitoring.
