Grounds
Constable Hall is currently flanked by two outbuildings – the servant’s quarters and the carriage house (labeled 1 and 2 below). But did you know that originally there was a fully working dairy farm on the grounds? A beautiful diorama by Frederick N. Keib has just been updated and shows the layout of the Constable estate in 1870.
Please reserve some time during your next visit to stroll around our grounds to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Ten new benches have been set out with beautiful views to enjoy and there are also several new paths. So bring a picnic, we have the tables!
