For anyone interested in learning how to make an amateur pierced tin lantern, just show up an hour early (at 6:00) for our Lantern-Lit Trek on the 18th. Bring a hammer and a clean tin can that has been filled with water and totally frozen with the ice still inside it. We will have the patterns, directions, and a handle to attach to it. Maybe even some little tea lights to see how they look! (But still plan on a real lantern for the Trek at 7:00!)
