Our many pre-opening activities are finished and we are ready for visitors. The mallards are swimming in our pond; come and visit them and us. It takes a lot of work to open the Hall after a North Country winter – cleaning the interior, preparing the gardens, cleaning up the grounds, turning on the water, putting out the tables and benches, etc.
South Lewis class members came by today and helped enormously with various chores. It was very exciting to see these fine young people swarming around like bees.
The response to our garden volunteer appeal has been very gratifying. But there are still triangles wanting adoption. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to spend some time close to nature.
